Eligibility:

The candidate must have pursued a 3-year Bachelor’s programme securing at least 50 % of marks or equivalent CGPA (45% in case of candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Physically Disabled (PD). Candidates appearing for the final year of bachelor’s degree/equivalent qualification examination and those who have completed degree requirements and are awaiting results can also apply. If selected, such candidates will be allowed to join the programme provisionally, provided he/she submits the results fulfilling the criteria to the AUD office latest by July 31, 2012.

About:

IBSAT is an aptitude test conducted by the ICFAI University Group, for students seeking admission into the management programs. IBSAT consists of multiple choice questions. IBSAT is for 2 hours duration and is aimed to test the applicant’s ability in quantitative techniques, data interpretation, data adequacy, vocabulary, analytical reasoning and reading comprehension.

Course Name: Application Modalities for MBA Program, Post Graduate Program in Management (PGPM), MBA - Financial Economics, MBA - Family Business & The Ph.D. (Full-time & Part-time) Programs.

Eligibility:

  • Graduates (any discipline) in English medium with 50% and above aggregate marks.
  • Final year students awaiting results can also apply.

Test Centers:

IBSAT will be conducted all over India. The applicants can choose any one of the test center available for IBSAT. The list of all the test centers is provided on Page 5. Please note that requests for change of test center will not be entertained under normal circumstances. In the event of not having enough seats at the requested test center, applicants will be allotted the nearest alternative center. IBSAT Office reserves the right to add or delete a few test centers depending upon the situation. The same will be intimated on the website www.ibsat.org for the benefit of applicants.

Online Admit Card:

All applicants who have applied for IBSAT are eligible to download Online Admit Cards from www.ibsat.org, using the application number and date of birth as their user name and password respectively from November 15, 2011 onwards. The online admit card will carry the name, address, roll number of the applicant, test date, timings, and details of the test center. No hard copies of Admit Cards will be sent. The admit card is not transferable. Impersonation is a punishable offence under law.

IBSAT Schedule:

Eligibility:

MBA : Candidates applying for admission to the 2-year Full- Time MBA must have pursued at least a 3-year Bachelor's Degree programme after 12 years of formal schooling. The minimum requisite percentage of marks (in aggreqate) in a bachelor degree in different disciplines: Arts, Commerce or Social Science - 50%; Sciences -55%; Mathematics or Statistics-60%; Medicine, Engineering or Technology - 60% /CGPAof at least 6.00 in a scale of 10.00. Or Post-Graduate Degree or 2nd Degree examination after 10+2+3 scheme, securing at least 60% marks. Candidates appearing for the final year examination of Bachelor's/Post-Graduate Degree examination may also apply.

DOCTORAL PROGRAMME: Candidates, seeking admission to FMS Doctoral Programme, are required to take the Common Admission Test (CAT) 2011 conducted by Indian Institutes of Management during October 22, 2011 to November 18, 2011. Work experience minimum of two years is mandatory for all candidates. Candidates exempted from the admission test are required to apply to F MS on the prescribed form alongwith a demand draft of Rs.250/- drawn in favor of Registrar, University of Delhi, by 31 st January, 2012. FOREIGN STUDENTS: All Foreign Nationals seeking admission to MBA and Ph.D. Programmes should apply t hrough the office of the Dy. Dean (Foreign Students) C/o Faculty of Management Studies, University of Delhi, Delhi-110007, India. Foreign nationals studying in Indian Universities are required to appear in the Common Admission Test (CAT) 2011. and foreign nationals with Indian degree (but not currently staying in India) are required to submit GMAT scores (minimum scores 650). However, foreign nationals with foreign degrees are required to submit both GMAT and TOEFL scores.
