The Common Entrance Test (CET) is the entrance examination for the MMS (Master's in Management Studies) programme conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education for gaining admission into colleges in Maharashtra.

CET Test Structure
               
The CET is totally out of 240 marks. The split of the 240 marks are as follows

• Written Test - 200 marks. The duration of the test is 2 1/2 hours. The written test involves subjects like Math, English, Logic and Visual Reasoning. The test has no sections and no negative marking.

• GD - 17 marks

• PI - 17 marks

• Past Academic Record - 4 marks

• Work Experience - 2 marks (This experience must be with a company listed on the Stock Exchange, Mumbai.)
