Immediate requirement for :-

Position : National Sales Head

Location : New Delhi,India

Company : Telecom Domain Product Company

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Sales of Mobile Marketing Software Products to mobile operators and other enterprise customers in India & SAARC countries

  • Map the market for potential, identifying key accounts, establishing relationships with people in relevant departments

  • Own customer engagements for pan India operations

  • Manage a team of pre-sales, account managers – train and mentor them

  • Lead the sales efforts in India/ SAARC countries and achieve targets set

  • Create the sales plan for the company in the designated territory and achieve the same

  • Give market feedback to the Product/Development and Marketing teams

  • Develop and maintain a reseller channel for reaching the products to all prospective customers.

  • Train and mentor the channel eco-system and motivate them to build high revenue customer accounts

  • Manage all customer accounts to ensure best of customer satisfaction

  • Track developments in Mobile Marketing in the industry and scout for opportunities for new and existing products

  • Relationships with the Product, Development, Support and Marketing teams in the organisation

 

Required Qualification & Experience:

  • 7 - 10 years experience in sales & marketing roles, in Software Platforms, Hi-tech, Internet and media companies

  • 3 + years experience in managing a sales team

  • 3 + years experience of dealing with Telecom carriers in the region and have existing relationships with decision makers

  • Track record of managing sales targets of 2-10 mn USD and achieving them

  • Experience of anchoring high ticket value sales to enterprise accounts

  • Knowledge of telecom domain in terms of carriers and application service providers

  • Knowledge of Mobile Marketing space (preferable)

  • Experience of working with large enterprise accounts, channel partners, taking part in tenders/ RFP processes

  • Experience of selling of OSS systems/ Content & VAS Platforms/Billing systems an advantage

  • Strong analytical and presentation skills

  • Internet/ Mobile savvy individual, with self drive and initiative

  • Experience of working in Telecom software companies, carriers, VAS/ technology service providers, mobile marketing

  • Ability to travel for customer meetings

 

Education : Engineering / MBA from a good university, with good academic track record

Reporting to : Director – Global Sales

Personality : Mature, pleasing person from a good family background. Team worker and good relationship building skills.

Salary Range : Competitive, Negotiable, depends on qualification /experience (approx. around 25 - 30 Lakhs inclusive of 30% variable comp.)
