INSEAD Seminar for Executive MBA in India

As global economic cycles grind relentlessly on through upswing and downturn, one commodity remains ever-precious for corporations: talent. In a world of credit crunches and rising food and fuel prices, the need for better talent becomes even more acute. How do corporations attract talented people, develop and retain them? These three challenges may well have a single four-letter solution: EMBA or the Executive MBA.

INSEAD is one of the world’s leading business schools with campuses in France and Singapore, and now a research centre in Abu Dhabi. INSEAD offers two world-class EMBA programmes. The Global EMBA (GEMBA) (http://www.insead.edu/emba/) is now taught in Abu Dhabi, France and Singapore. In addition, the Tsinghua-INSEAD EMBA (TIEMBA) (http://tsinghua.insead.edu.sg/) is a dual degree programme offered though a partnership with China’s prestigious Tsinghua University. Half of the modules are taught at Tsinghua's historic campus in Beijing and the rest in Singapore (and one module in Fontainebleau) making it ideal for executives in East Asia.

The EMBA, unlike the traditional one or two year MBA, is ideal for executives like yourself with considerable professional experience and careers that are simply too good to abandon for full-time study. The format varies, but the best programmes are usually modular. They intersperse residential study periods with enough time back at the office to apply what has been learnt. It is a major commitment: a full degree programme condensed into intensive bursts of academic work, usually alongside an equally challenging job. Yet the benefits of 'sandwich learning' are significant.

These benefits have for many years attracted senior managers and executives to the EMBA at INSEAD. The EMBA is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to learn, build a network and accelerate a career.
