Data Interpretation Section:

There were 25 Qs from this section.5 sets and 5 Qs on each set. In certain sets Qs were direct but in some cases some sort of calculation was also required. But overall very much in tune with our fundabook. There were questions based on:

1. Income tax slab: It was a tabular graph, where for different ranges of income different tax rates were given and the questions asked were like:
If the income of a person is Rs.1, 20,000, how much tax he will have to pay?
If a person is paying Rs.20, 000 as a tax then his income is______.
Similarly other questions were there.

2.One set was based on simple interest. It was a case-let type. It said that a man has invested some money at a certain rate and from time to time he is withdrawing some money out of it. Sometimes he is withdrawing only interest accrued and sometimes a part of the principal also.
What was the total interest earned by the person?

3.Revenue- and profit- based: It was based on line graph. Two lines depicting revenue and profit. Questions were based on the relationship among revenue, expenditure and profit.

4.Population and GDP of some countries—A tabular graph where population and GDP of five countries were given and the questions were like –which country has the max per capita GDP. This set required some calculation.
