After carefully reviewing the CAT 2009 status as well as the queries and apprehensions on CAT from the potential aspirants, Great Lakes will be accepting XAT 2010 (not be accepting XAT 2009) scores as well for the admission process of PGPM 2010-2011. Simultaneously, also be conducting own admissions test, Great Lakes Entrance Aptitude Test (GREAT). Strongly encourage applicants who have taken CAT 2009 to take up GREAT in order to better your candidature, even if CAT results are delayed. In case the CAT results get delayed beyond February 22nd 2010, may be constrained not to accept CAT 2009 scores.

ON Great Lakes Entrance Aptitude Test (GREAT 2010)

It is likely to be held in February, 2010 and will be administered in 6 cities (Chennai, Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, and Kolkata). Dates will be announced shortly.

There is likely to be a nominal admission test fee which will be announced shortly

It will be an online test

Those who have taken CAT 09, /or XAT 2010 can take GREAT additionally, if they so desire

Those who wish to take GREAT will need to apply before February 7, 2010 and also register for the test

The last date for completing the entire application form except for the test scores will continue to be February 7, 2010 for all i.e. CAT 09, GMAT 2010, XAT 2010 and our test GREAT

The first round of GD/PI for applicants through CAT 2008 and GMAT (taken earlier than 31st December, 2009) will be held on 6th and 7th of February, 2010. Candidates who have not got a call for the first round can improve their candidature by taking GREAT 2010.

The registration process for GREAT 2010 will be as follows

Registration is open on January 22nd, 2010

An email with the registration link will be sent to the applicants who have already started their application before January 22nd, 2010 to register for the test

For applicants who start their application after January 22nd, 2010, the GREAT registration will be bundled with the online application
