Background/General description:
The World Bank, the leading multilateral organization in global economic development, requires professionals for its Resource Management Advisory (RMA) unit in Chennai, India. RMA provides help-desk support to Bank staff engaged in financial processes and transactions.
General Description:
The Business Process Assistant will be responsible for resolving client queries related to financial processes and transactions. This includes resolving queries through phone and e-mail, and updating technical documentation.
The working hours for the position will be from 9 a.m. to 5.30 p.m. EST (Washington, DC). The position is based in Chennai .

Note:
If the selected candidate is a current Bank Group staff member with a Regular or Open-Ended appointment, s/he will retain his/her Regular or Open-Ended appointment. All others will be offered a 2 year renewable term appointment.
Duties, Accountabilities And Responsibilities:
- Gathering and analyzing client queries
- Accurately resolving client queries
- Maintaining the Turn Around Time (TAT)
- Documenting policies and processes

- Ability to execute tasks independently
Education & Experience:
The candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree. Fresh graduates are welcome.
